Program Description

This course was specifically created for the oil field worker in Alaska and covers safety procedures, load securement of pipe, hoisting and lifting operations with slings, ropes and forklifts, cribbing and blocking, hazardous materials awareness, emergency response, offshore operations awareness and fire protection.

Prerequisites for Enrollment
  • 18 Years of Age or Older
  • DOT Equivalent Drug Test (If accepted, test can be done no more than 10 days before class begins)
  • Hard-toed work boots or similar
