Course Description

This course is considered a basic review of knowledge and designed for an "extremely experienced" truck driver. Students will have up to 2 hours of vehicle training to include:

  • pre-trip inspection
  • air brakes testing
  • coupling/uncoupling
  • backing, and behind the wheel driving

In this course, you will review your general awareness of the performance requirements for the State of Alaska. After your practice time, you will have a 2 hour CDL road skills exam. A benefit of this program is that you are not testing in an unknown vehicle.

Certifications or Certificates
  • Upon successful completion, students have the opportunity to obtain a State of Alaska Commercial Driver's License A or B

  • 19 Years of Age or Older
  • DOT Physical
  • IA or IB Permit for a minimum of 14 days
  • Valid Alaska Driver's License
