Roustabout Training
This 180-hour course was specifically created for the oil field worker in Alaska and covers safety
procedures, load securement of pipe, hoisting and lifting operations with slings, ropes and forklifts,
scaffolding, cribbing and blocking, hazardous materials awareness, emergency response, offshore
survival and fire fighting.
Prerequisites: FMCSA/DOT drug test, DOT physical
Tuition: $4,200 Book & Material fee: $200 (Minimum of 4 students)
Roughneck Training
This advanced 184-hour training program will introduce students to oil and gas drilling and rig floor
operations. The course covers care and use of tongs, proper care for and handling drill pipe and drill
collar slips, pipe connections, and laying down pipe, forklift training, scaffolding, winching, hoisting
and lifting operations and emergency response.
Prerequisites: FMCSA/DOT drug test, DOT physical
Tuition: $4,200 Book & Material fee: $200 (Minimum of 4 students) |
