Transportation Awareness and Safety Training

Part 49 CFR 172.700 Required since Oct. 1, 1993, for all employees working with hazardous materials (formerly DOT HM-126) (4 hours). Tuition: $50

 

Haz Mat Transport Specialist

49 CFR parts 100 – 177 DOT regulatory requirements for the shipping and handling of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes. This is a requirement for many warehouse personnel, drivers, material handlers, technicians, and front-line management. Includes Awareness Certification 49 CFR 172.700. (32 hours).Tuition: $550

Hazardous Waste First-Responder

OSHA 1910.120 Hazardous Waste certification training in First Response at Operations Level. This course satisfies the requirements many companies have for entering a haz-mat site. Training includes basic understanding of hazardous materials and the first steps taken on the scene of hazardous material accident (8 hours). Tuition $135

 

General Site Worker

OSHA 1910.120 Hazardous Waste certification training in Hazardous Waste Site cleanup and the transportation of hazardous waste. Students are trained in the proper methods of sampling, handling, and transporting of hazardous materials (40 hours). Tuition $700
