Safe operating practices address accident procedures, extreme driving conditions, and emergency maneuvers. Students take the road skills test in the same equipment used throughout the course. Also, included in this course is training in DOT Regulations (49 CFR 172.700) and forklift use. A certificate is received for each. The successful student receives a CDL A license with endorsements, OSHA Forklift Certificate and PTDI Certificate.
Please note: The program consists of 15 days of classroom, followed by 5 days of range, followed by 10 days of street driving.
