This 197.5 hour program introduces students to the history of carpentry and orientation to trade requirements to become an entry level carpenter assistant and develop the skills necessary to become a carpenter. Upon completions of Level I students will be able to: identify the stages and process within the carpentry trade, identitfy the responsibilities and safety in the construction industry.
This 180 hour course guides students through second step of the basic requirements including blueprint reading and carpentry systems necessary to become an entry level carpenter?s helper and develop the skills necessary to become a carpenter. Course includes classroom and hands on training.
This 202.5 hour course guides students through the intermediate requirements of carpentry techniques to become an intermediate level carpenter?s helper and develop to further develop the skills necessary to become a journey level carpenter. Course includes classroom and hands on training.
This 180 hour course guides students through the advanced requirements including finish and trim out options to become an advanced level carpenters helper and develop the skills necessary to become a carpenter. The program includes classroom and hands on training.
This 180 hour course introduces students to the concrete, concrete tools, equipment, concrete units, and installation techniques of the concrete finishing trade. Upon completion, students will be entry level concrete finishers.
This 180 hour course offers students more in-depth training into the concrete finishing trade. Students will become more proficient in the use of concrete tools, equipment, and installation techniques.
This 180 hour course introduces students to the electrical trade and the possible job opportunities available. Students learn electrical safety, electrical theory, and an intro to the National Electrical Code. Upon completion, students are entry level electrical assistants.
This 180 course is the second phase of entry level electrical assistant training. Students learn about alternating current, motors theory and application, and grounding.
This 180 hour course introduces students to load calculations, branch circuits, over current protection, and wiring devices. Upon completion of training, students become intermediate electrical assistants.
